James Hoobler

Wilton Park USA


James Hoobler is Wilton Park USA’s Program Manager, focusing on transatlantic dialogue and Middle East security, where his current projects deal primarily with migration, deterrence, and Iran policy. He has lived and worked in the Middle East and Central Asia, and received his Master’s degree in Iranian Studies from the University of St Andrews. James is based in Washington, DC.

He is a 2017-2018 participant in AICGS’ project “A German-American Dialogue of the Next Generation: Global Responsibility, Joint Engagement,” sponsored by the Transatlantik-Programm der Bundesrepublik Deutschland aus Mitteln des European Recovery Program (ERP) des Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaft und Energie (BMWi).
